Instructions for Sending Cremains for Your Memorial Artwork
We are deeply honored to create a unique memorial artwork that embodies the essence of your loved one. To ensure the integration of the cremains into your chosen artwork is handled with the utmost respect and care, please follow these instructions carefully:
Preparing the Cremains
- Quantity Required: Please send only a few ounces of cremains. This amount is sufficient for integrating into your selected memorial artwork.
- Sealing the Cremains: Place the cremains in a sturdy, sealed container. A zip-lock bag double-sealed and then placed within a small, rigid box is recommended to ensure the contents remain secure. Unfortunately, the container you send cannot be returned, so please choose accordingly.
- Labeling: Clearly label the outside of the box with your name, order number, and contact information. This ensures we can match the cremains to your order accurately.
Mailing the Cremains
- Follow USPS Guidelines: Sending cremains requires adherence to specific regulations. Please consult the United States Postal Service (USPS) guidelines for mailing cremated remains. USPS is the only postal service that accepts cremains, and they provide a label ("Label 139") to signify the package contains cremains. Visit your local post office or the USPS website for detailed instructions and the necessary label.
- Tracking and Insurance: We recommend using a shipping method that includes tracking and insurance for your peace of mind. This way, you can monitor the shipment's progress and have coverage in the unlikely event of a mishap.
After the Artwork is Created
- Respectful Handling of Leftover Cremains: Should there be any cremains not utilized in the creation of your artwork, please be assured they will be spread respectfully in a serene forest in Northern Minnesota. This act is carried out with great care, allowing your loved one's essence to become a part of the natural beauty of the area.

Our Reviews
"My boyfriend and I walked by this place last fall, stopped while they were doing a demonstration, and decided we had to come back for a class! We did the wine goblet class, where we each ended up making two stems for glasses (they attach the cup part and the base, so you don't have to worry about messing up the function 😅). It was so much fun! Our instructor (Daniel, I think, it's been a few weeks since we did it now) was great at teaching and guiding us through the process. We definitely want to go again in the (hopefully near) future!"– S. Leahsman
"Loved the experience for our family. Great way to spend a birthday. Our artist was fantastic, he answered all the questions and explained what was happening in a really down-to-earth way. It was fun and a great way to get a customized piece of art. We will be back."– jacat651
"We did the pendant class today, it was a great experience! Will definitely be back for more. Thanks, Joe and Pete!"– A. Urban
