After highly detailed demonstrations and explanations of tools, safety and history, tap into your inner artist and use a torch and special glass to create your own small projects such as pendants, and marbles (check out the pictures for images of student work!). Classes are held at Minnesota's premier glass art gallery and studio Lake Superior Art Glass located at 202 East Superior St. Duluth. $180 covers instruction, materials and supplies for one student. There is a two-student minimum to run this class. Glass cools slowly in a kiln overnight and is available for pick up the next morning or can be shipped right to your door!*
We recommend you wear layers, preferably cotton as a safety precaution, as it can get kind of chilly in the studio during winter days!
Special Offer: All participants of a full (6 students) class receive a 20% discount off the cost of the class in the form of a gift certificate. This is available whether you sign up just yourself or with friends. As long as the class is full, everyone gets a discount. Tell your friends and family and get signed up. Can not be combined with any other discounts.
By purchasing this class, you acknowledge that 50% of your payment is non-refundable. You also acknowledge there will be a $40 rescheduling fee applied if you reschedule within 5 days of the class date. Exceptions include if LSAG needs to cancel the class, we or you can find someone to take your place in the class, or in extreme cases such as injury or illness.
*Students cover shipping costs.
