Adam Thomas has a strong range of styles and techniques when it comes to glass art, using a combination of historical techniques and contemporary perspective. He often allows the glass itself to shape what is made as responds to the fluidity and hot glass. Movement and energy drive the design as many of Adam’s pieces incorporate spirals, wave patterns, and ribbon-like elements.
For the past 11 years, Adam has been making glass art allowing it to evolve and shape himself as well. Adam is accomplished in both furnace glass blowing and torch-work glass. In 2013 he opened The Juicebox Studio in Detroit, MI with fellow glass artist Marc Vandenberg to expand and combine their glass blowing expertise.
